Federal Student Work Experience Program (FSWEP) is the primary vehicle through which federal government departments and agencies recruit students. This program, established in 1990, provides some 8,000 students a year with temporary jobs in different federal departments and agencies. The core of the program is a computerized national inventory of students seeking a job with the federal public service. Ce programme, établi en 1990, permet chaque année à environ 8 000 étudiantes et étudiants de se trouver un emploi temporaire au sein des ministères et organismes fédéraux.
